Unofficial Cycle Routes - Pollok Centre to South Nitshill

This route links the Pollok Centre to South Nitshill via Priesthill. It can be accessed using the unofficial cycle route from the Clyde Tunnel, and there is also a rough link to Barrhead.

Starting from the Pollok Centre car park at the east side of the shopping centre, take the car park road south, turn right into Cowglen Road, then immediately left onto a path that goes past a demolished school. At the end of the path, cross the footbridge across the Brock Burn, then right onto Muirshiel Crescent. Pass the first side road, then fork left at the Muirshiel Avenue junction on the right. Carry straight on into Linnhead Drive, then turn left then first right at the end, across Glenmuir Road into Cleeves Road.

At the far end of Cleeves Road, cross the main Nitshill Road and go straight on into Dove Street. Follow this road round the left corner and at the far end turn right onto Woodhead Pass which goes under a small railway bridge. This is South Nitshill. Turn left then right for Wiltonburn Road, or right then left for Weensmoor Road. If you wish to explore the unofficial cycle route to Barrhead turn right and proceed to the end of the road.
